Terms of Service the rules for using CordCat.

CordCat is a Discord intelligence (OSINT) platform that aggregates publicly available data: Discord public profiles (via the Discord API), data breach records (via a private breach data aggregator), FiveM server records, and EU Digital Services Act transparency orders, and presents them in a structured interface.

CordCat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.

You may use CordCat for lawful purposes including:

• Personal security research and self-assessment (checking your own account's exposure).

• Trust & safety investigations for legitimate moderation or security teams.

• Journalistic or academic OSINT research conducted in compliance with applicable laws.

• Integration into security tools via the API, provided your use complies with these Terms.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

You must not use CordCat to:

• Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten any individual or group.

• Build automated datasets or perform bulk scraping of profile data without our express written permission.

• Circumvent rate limits, resell access, or share API keys with third parties.

• Violate applicable law, including GDPR, CCPA, CFAA, or local data protection regulations.

• Dox, out, or expose private individuals without their consent, including revealing home addresses, real identities, or medical information.

• Use data against minors in any way.

• Probe or attack the platform's security infrastructure. See our Bug Bounty programme for responsible disclosure.

• Create accounts to impersonate another person or organisation.

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement.

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not register if you have previously been banned from CordCat.

API keys are personal credentials tied to your account. You must not:

• Share, sell, or transfer your API key to any third party.

• Embed API keys in publicly accessible client-side code or public repositories.

Free plan keys: 60 requests per hour. Exceeding this limit will result in 429 responses. Abuse (automated circumvention, key sharing) will result in key revocation without refund.

We reserve the right to modify rate limits with 7 days' notice for the free plan.

CordCat provides data AS-IS from third-party sources. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or currency of breach, FiveM, or DSA records. Do not make important decisions solely on the basis of CordCat results without independent verification.

The CordCat platform, design, code, and branding are owned by CordCat. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services as described in these Terms. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the platform without written permission.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CORDCAT AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of €50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CordCat and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from: your violation of these Terms, your use of data obtained through the Services, or your violation of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without prior notice. For serious violations (illegal activity, harassment), termination is immediate. For minor violations, we will endeavour to provide a warning first.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and, where applicable, the laws of France. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts.

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days in advance.
